What you are wearing can say a whole lot about you before you even open your mouth in an interview. I know the basics that I should not wear ripped up jeans and a messy t-shirt, but I wonder what style do most people prefer for interview attire. I have heard everything from wear a pant suit, to only wear a skirt suit, to wearing a nice dress is ok, to wearing nice jeans with a blazer. Then the next question is what colors to wear? Keep it simple, black is nice, black is too depressing, winners wear white, don't wear it after labor day, wear a color that compliments your skin tone. And then to fabrics: something shiny, something that doesn't wrinkle, no polyester, twill is always nice. Or how about silhouette: pencil skirt, a-line, cap-sleeves, sleeveless, scoop neck, bateau. There are just so many choices to go with! So what is the ultimate interview outfit? Fill me in with your opinions! I'll leave you with some of my ideas, all found on Neimanmarcus.com:
